This unit involved creating a short animation/advertisement cantered around the theme of 3D printing.
I collaborated across multiple teams, providing support with compositing while also leading my own team in the development of experimental shaders in Houdini.
My contributions are shown in the video which included organizing and leading team meetings, developing FX, sculpting models and compositing together the 2d/3d effect.
Taking on multiple responsibilities gave me the chance to experiment across different areas in this project but it also spread my focus thin. Looking back, having a clearer intent and focus on specific shots would have strengthened the final result.
Overall it was a valuable learning experience in balancing experimentation with cohesion
