It showcases the character, Evette, I created from the concept art all the way to the 3d model render passes done using the Arnold renderer in Maya.
It showcases my character Evette with a fully custom rig and a walk cycle animation. The walk cycle also showcases the various outfits in motion that I have designed and modelled for Evette.
It showcases advanced Rotoscope and integration, DMP (Digital Matte Painting) and Green screen removal and integration.
It showcases four different projects I created using Houdini.
In order this involved;
1st - procedural modelling
2nd - pyro smoke
3rd - pyro smoke and particles integrated with character animated in Maya
4th - Pyro powered growth effect and ripple simulations.
This was a team project in which we decided as a group to take it as an opportunity to learn skills we don't otherwise visit and create a procedural environment within Houdini.
My technical role in this was to create the terrain using height field maps and composite it all together once everyone's assets were completed.
I also led a lot of the team discussions, made a log of our progress and helped other team members.
